Apps to help you pass Microsoft Cert Exams

Microsoft certification exams are getting more and more difficult.  Below are some of the apps which TechRepublic recommends, which will help you prepare for the exams:

1. Transcender: Transcender is one of the ‘big daddies’ in providing practice exams, and has been doing so since the 90s. It allows you to choose a customised exam, where you take the exam which works best for you. Or you can choose one of the past exam papers, which are in the same format of the actual exam. It also provides you with flash cards, which help you prepare for the exam.

2. uCertify: The uCertify practice tests cover a wide number of questions. A typical Microsoft cert has about 60 questions, while uCertify exams have as many as 360 questions. It also gives you a chapter-by-chapter guide and explanations of all the exam answers.

3. SelfTest: SelfTest also offers a wide range of questions; about triple the number of questions from the actual exam. You also get 281 flash cards to assist you in your learning. SelfTest has two modes – learning mode, which gives explanations of correct answers as you go along, and the certification mode, which mirrors the actual exam.
